My First Olympus Blog Post

I was recently asked to write a guest post for the Olympus Image Space Blog. It was a hugely exciting opportunity and I jumped at the chance.

But what was I going to write about?

I spent a lot of 2019 working on a voluntary project for the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. My task was to photograph some of their many reserves. I was supposed to be getting landscape shots as well as wildlife, but the wildlife kept calling and I would get distracted as soon as a bird fluttered by or a mammal scampered off into the bushes.

My Olympus post details one such day, but it was a fairly defining moment because it’s when I discovered the full potential of video.
